Q: What is a non-US degree worth in the US?
A: Properly evaluated it is worth the same as a US degree!
How to Have Your Non-US Degree Evaluated as Equivalent to a US Accredited Degree
If you have graduated from a non-US school and need to have that degree accepted in the US we can help you. The first thing you must do is have your degree evaluated in terms of a US degree. If you graduated from a recognized/accredited college or university outside the US you can have that degree evaluated as equivalent to a US Regionally Accredited degree.
If you live in the US and you have a degree from a non-US institution you should have it evaluated by a recognized evaluation agency.
See http://www.adsec.nafsa.org/criteriafc.asp so that you fully understand how this process works.
CCI has helped many graduates of non-US schools get their degrees evaluated as equivalent to a US Accredited degree. Many employers need an evaluation to understand that the graduate is qualified for a job that require an accredited degree.
You Can Have Your Degree Evaluated as Equivalent to a US Accredited Degree:
Many graduates of non-US schools have been unable to have their degree accepted in the US.
Most of the time there is no reason for this problem because you can have your degree evaluated as equivalent to a US Accredited degree.
If you graduated from a college or university that is recognized/accredited in its own home country there is no reason that you cannot have it evaluated a equivalent to US regionally accredited degrees by one of many recognized evaluation agencies.
As a rule, most (but not necessarily all) employers and colleges and universities will accept an evaluation.
The reason that the degree is evaluated as equivalent to a US Accredited degree is based on the fact that one of the recommendations of the National Council on the Evaluation of Foreign Education Credentials is that Foreign governments should accredit the university or institution when they are accredited by the minister of education of its home country.

“ I wish I knew about this 10 years ago - This might be the best kept secret in Education.”
“ I was going to drop out of college after my first year. I had to work and could not handle doing it all. I graduated 6 months after discovering how to test-out.”
“ As soon as I learned about this, I studied for two nights and took an exam that gave me 6 college credits. I studied the next week and took three exams that gave me another 12 credits. I thought I would never get a college degree and now I see that I should be finished in less than a year.”
“ In three months I had banked over 60 credits - that is the equivalent of two years of college work. I study an average of two hours a night, three nights a week.”
“ I dropped out of college with only 15 credits to go to get my degree. Everyone told me that the credits were worthless after 15 years. Mine were over 25 years old. Everyone was wrong. I got full credit for my 105 credits completed and I tested out of the remaining 15 credits in less than 4 weeks. Now I have my Bachelor's degree. I am so proud.”
